A tarde como o tempo melhorou, apesar do frio e do vento. Decidimos realizar um trekking de ascensão a uma montanha próxima a cidade. O Cerro de la Teta é uma montanha de 1124 m de altitude e bastante exposta a ventos por estar isolada e bem na região da estepe patagonica. Iniciamos a subida com bastante precaução. Lentamente fomos progr<span class="text_exposed_hide">...</span><span class="text_exposed_show">edindo e depois de algum tempo de ascensão chegamos a um cume falso, seguimos montanha a cima, rajadas de vento quase nos derrubavamos. A visão lá de cima era espetacular e a vontade de chegar ao cume aumentava a cada passo. <br /> Chegamos ao cume e visao da região ficou ainda mais fantástica. Pena a ventania no alto da montanha que nao nos permitiu ficar mais que alguns minutos lá em cima. O dia amanhaceu totalmente nublado e ventando muito.<br /> Nosso objetivo era chegar a cidade de Gobernador Costa a cerca 90 km de distância. Hoje se dúvida alguma foi o dia mais gelado até aqui, principalmente por conta do vento. A sensação térmica durante o dia ficou sempre abaixo dos -10C. O trecho de hoje não apresentou uma grande a<span class="text_exposed_hide">...</span><span class="text_exposed_show">ltimetria acumulada, que ficou em torno dos 300 m. Porém o vento gelado vindo do Sul nos castigou. Cada quilômetro foi sofrido. Quase não paramos, pois era pior quando o corpo parava de gerar calor pareciamos que iriamos congelar. Rapidas paradas para uma foto ou comer algo e só isso. Com o vento contra a impressão que tinhamos era que estavamos subindo o tempo todo. Foi um dia difícil, mas ao mesmo tempo compensador. Estar numa região extremamente bonita e selvagem como essa e nessa época é um privilégio. <br /> Chegamos a Gobernador Costa no fim da tarde acumulando cerca de 800 km percorridos até aqui pela mítica ruta 40. Teremos que dar por encerrada aqui essa travessia por questões de logistica para o nosso retorno ao Brasil na próxima terça feira. Faltaram 380 km para que chegassemos ao nosso objetivo que era a cidade de Perito Moreno. Não por falta de vontade ou esforço e sim por condições climáticas extremas. Amanhã ficaremos aqui em Gobernador Costa até as 23 h quando pegaremos um ônibus para Comodoro Rivadavia. O dia amanheceu novamente bem gelado e tivemos que aguardar o Sol pra podermos iniciar o pedal do dia. Iniciamos com uma longa subida de 12 km para aquecer. Ao longo do dia o percurso foi alternando subidas, planos e algumas descidas. O acumulado de altimetria hoje chegou aos 600 m. Cada dia na 40 a paisagem fica mais exube<span class="text_exposed_show">rante, montanhas, estepes, rios e muito mais. Hoje vimos muitas aves durante o dia e estamos atravessando uma região, onde existem pumas. Não vimos nenhum ainda. Melhor que nao vejamos kkkkk. O vento apareceu de forma forte a tarde soprando rajadas vindas da Cordilheira o que atrapalhou um pouco o rendimento. Depois de pouco mais de 7h de jornada chegamos a Tecka. Tecka é um povoado de cerca de 900 habitantes as margens da 40. Nos alojamos hoje atrás de um posto de combustíveis. Estamos com quase 700 km rodados ate aqui, onde ja ultrapassamos os 6000 m de altimetria acumulada.Amanhã seguimos viagem e talvez seja nosso último dia de pedal, pois nosso voo na terca feira de volta ao Brasil sai de Comodoro Rivadavia. Amanhã vamos ver o quanto conseguiremos progredir na travessia para ver como ficará nossa logística de transporte para o aeroporto, já que Comodoro fica mais de 600 km de distância daqui! O dia amanheceu perfeito, com céu completamente azul, sem vento, porém com a temperatura bem abaixo de zero. Iniciamos o dia subindo um longo trecho, tinhamos informações de que a altimetria seria de entorno de 500 m, mas isso não se confirmou. Um sobe e desce, mais sobe kkkk veio pela frente e a verdadeira altimetria<span class="text_exposed_show"> desse percurso chegou aos 1200 m. Aos poucos a paisagem foi mudando. Trechos onde as montanhas ainda nevadas ficavam apenas do lado direito da estrada e ao lado esquerdo mesetas, onde a estepe patagônica começou a dar as caras. Foram 130 km de percursos sem nada de civilizações, a não ser algumas comunidades indígenas Mapuche. Sem a menor dúvida foi um trecho lindíssimo e ao mesmo tempo bem difícil pela quantidade de longas subidas. Chegamos a Esquel que é uma das principais cidades da Patagônia, com uma boa infraestrutura, depois de 8h de jornada. No trecho final a 40 faz uma curva a direita que nos deixou de frente para o vento. Chegamos mais uma vez exaustos, mas satisfeitos com a progressão. Como ontem tivemos um desgaste fisico grande com a escalada e já vinhamos de três longas jornadas de pedal sob muito frio decidimos descansar pela manhã e tentar nos recompor em El Bolson. Cedinho ajudamos nosso companheiro de expedição André, levar seus equipamentos até a rodoviária para pegar o ônibus para Bariloche a temperatura era de -7C.Voltamos para Hostel e no início da tarde partimos rumo ao Sul. Porem antes demos uma rápida pa<span class="text_exposed_hide">...</span><span class="text_exposed_show">ssada na famosa feira de artesanatos de El Bolson e seguimos viagem. Com o dia lindo novamente colocamos um bom ritmo de pedal, mas as subidas foram aparecendo e o ritmo caiu. Rodamos cerca de 50 km em 4h e pouquinho e chegamos a Epuyen as margens da Ruta 40. Hoje as subidas nos castigaram e sentimos que não estavamos recuperados dos dias anteriores.<br /> Decidimos ficar nessa cidadezinha rodeada de montanhas nevadas chamada Epuyen já que o sol estava baixando e com ele a temperatura. Agora estamos alojados num refúgio. Lá fora faz bastante frio e a previsão para amanhã é de tempo bom e mais frio! Amanhã tentaremos chegar a Esquel a aproximadamente 130 km! Nesse trecho não existe nada de cidades, postos ou mesmo fazendas. Partimos muito cedo para a montanha para termos chance de alcançar o cume.<br /> Conseguimos um transporte que nos deixou numa pequena plataforma a cerca de 900m de altitude, desde ali começamos a escalar a montanha. Iniciamos com uma temperatura de -9C e um céu completamente limpo e sem nada de vento.<br /> Aos poucos fomos ganhando altitude e depois<span class="text_exposed_hide">...</span><span class="text_exposed_show"> de 1 30h já estavamos a 1450 m, onde fica o refúgio de montanha do Clube Andino Piltriquitron. Passamos rapidamente pelo refúgio, onde é necessário registrar a escalada. O responsável pelo refúgio nos disse que no dia anterior dois franceses haviam tentado fazer cume, mas nao obtiveram sucesso devido a grande quantidade de neve e que nessa temporada invernal ninguém havia chegado ao cume. Inclusive que ele mesmo havia tentado e nao tinha conseguido. Entao <br /> eu e o Marcelo nos olhamos e dissemos, "vamos tentar". Saimos do refúgio e começamos a subir montanha acima. O Sol saiu e com isso sentimos uma sensação de calor no meio de uma imensidão de gelo e neve. Seguimos as pegadas deixadas pelos franceses e a neve cada vez mais fofa e dificil de progredir. Já estavamos avançando por horas lentamente, quando derrepente não existiam mais vestigios dos franceses e ai pensamos, os franceses vieram até aqui. Decidimos seguir a cada passo a inclinação aumentava e eu que estava guiando afundava cada vez mais na neve, fazendo com que cada passo fosse vencido com muito esforço. Horas subindo e a inclinação também. O trecho final era uma rampa muito inclinada com neve muito compactada, gelo! Foi tensa a escalada nesse trecho, mas passo a passo superei os últimos metros chegando ao cume suando de tensão, logo em seguida chegou o Marcelo seguindo cada passo que dei montanha acima. Fomos abençoados pir um dia espetacular de céu azul e nada de vento, algo rarissimo no inverno aqui pela Patagônia. Ao todo foram 10 h de jornada exaustiva, tensa e ao mesmo tempo fantastica! <br /> Amanhã iremos descansar pela manhã e a tarde seguiremos viagem em direção ao Sul pela Ruta 40!<br /> Nosso companheiro de expedição André tinha como objetivo chegar até aqui e amanhã volta ao Brasil. Saimos de Bariloche com o tempo fechado e pequenos flocos de neve, mas que nao chegavam a acumular. Nosso destino era El Bolson a 123 km. Fizemos o percurso em pouco mais de 9 h, com o passar do dia o tempo melhorou, mas o frio seguiu intenso. Um sobe desce interminável nos acompanhou durante todo o percurso, o que resultou em mais de 1300 m de altimetria acumulada. As paisagens cada vez mais espetaculares também fizeram parte do noss<span class="text_exposed_hide">...</span><span class="text_exposed_show">a jornada. Passamos por um passo a onde havia um pouco de neve e o vento era cortante. O final do dia foi novamente sofrido, mas pela primeira vez chegamos de dia ainda no nosso objetivo. Amanhã sairemos de madrugada com a intensao de escalar o Cerro Piltriquitron 2260 m, a montanha está bastante nevada e a previsão é de ventos fortissimos no alto da montanha, vamos ver se alcançamos o cume. Até aqui em três dias rodamos cerca de 360 km e estamos bem fisicamente. Contamos com a torcida de todos nessa escalada invernal aqui em plena Patagônia. </span></div>

O tempo deu uma boa melhorada ao longo da manhã e partimos rumo a Bariloche. Um percurso de quase 90 km, 1000 m de altimetria e de uma beleza espetacular. A estrada segue quase o tempo todo o Lago Nahuel Huapi rodeado de montanhas ne<span class="text_exposed_hide">...</span><span class="text_exposed_show">vadas, inclusive passando pelo belo Cerro Bayo. A nossa jornada iniciou com o tempo fechado e depois de um tempo o sol que até então não tinha mostrado sua cara apareceu de forma magnífica. A temperatura ficou em média de 3C e com o sol a sensação era agradável. Não demorou muito e o tempo mudou completamente e rápido. Nuvens pesadas encobriram o sol e a temperatura baixou rápidamente.No trecho final, faltando cerca de 30 km começou ventar frontalmente e aí a coisa começou a complicar um pouco. Depois de 7 horas de jornada chegamos ao anoitecer em Bariloche com um por do sol incrível. Amanhã a expedição segue para El Bolson a 130 km daqui. Uma chuva que muitas vezes caia congelada. O percurso foi muito exigente, com muitas subidas, um passo de montanha, onde subimos 16 km sem parar. O<span class="text_exposed_hide">...</span><span class="text_exposed_show"> frio era intenso e tivemos que utilizar todos nossos equipamentos de vestuário e foi o que ajudou no sucesso desse dia extremamente difícil. Por diversas vezes pensamos que nao chegariamos a Villa La Angostura, cidade encravada em meio a Cordilheira dos Andes. Passamos por muitos trechos nevados e com asfalto com gelo. Foram quase 13 h de jornada, 150 km percorridos com muito esforço. Pedalamos cerca de duas horas já na escuridão da noite. Faltando cerca de 15 km para a chegada a La Angostura a chuva aumentou e já estavamos molhados e a temperatura despencando. Tive um pequeno principio de congelamento de alguns dedos dos pés, que já foram tradados aqui no hostel. Apesar de cansandos estamos focados no nosso objetivo. Todos bem fisicamente! Amanhã serão cerca de 90 km! O frio continua intenso, mas a tarde o sol apareceu e fez com que a paisagem patagonica ficasse ainda mais bonita!<br /> Chegando em Junin fomos direto para o Hostel e começamos a montar as bikes.<br /> Amanhã iniciaremos nossa travessia pela 40, pretendemos percorrer 150 km e chegar a Villa Angostura. Previsão de -5C para as 7h com ventos que ultrapassarao os 30 km/h e pancadas de chuvas. Será um dia complicado, com mais de 2000 m de altimetria. Contamos com a torcida de todos!<br />

Já estamos na Patagônia pessoal!<br />
Depois de sairmos de Porto Alegre pela manhã chegamos a Bariloche por volta das 19h!<br />
Quando estávamos ainda voando em direção a Bariloche, ao se aproximar do nosso destino de hoje avistamos pela janela do avião o tamanho da "encrenca" que nos espera.<br />
Avistamos uma vastidão de montanhas nevadas e estepes encharcadas. Ao desembarcarmos uma chuva fina, frio e um vento cortante nos recepcionou. Logo lembrei o que o amigo <a class="profileLink" data-hovercard="/ajax/hovercard/user.php?id=100000600709371" href="https://www.facebook.com/rudah.azevedo">Rudah Azevedo</a> me disse quando eu ainda planejava essa expedição " cara tu vai estagiar na sucursal do inferno". Kkkk<br />
<br />
Aqui estamos, amanhã seguimos de ônibus para Junin de los Andes e no domingo iniciaremos a travessia de bike. Serao 150 km de Junin a Villa Angostura.<br />

Foram meses de preparação e finalmente a hora de partir chegou!<br />
Hoje vamos de Porto Alegre a Buenos Aires e depois a San Carlos de Bariloche, via aéreo. Amanhã seguimos até Junin de los Andes de onibus, onde finalmente no domingo iniciaremos nossa travessia, tendo como objetivo do primeiro dia Villa Angostura a 150 km de Junin.<br />

Para essa expedição do projeto temos algumas novidades, dessa vez irei acompanhado de dois grandes esportistas, formando assim uma equipe de três ciclistas e montanhistas. Por falar em montanhistas, anuncio que tentaremos escalar o Cerro Piltriquitron de 2260m localizado próximo a cidade de El Bolson, 123 km ao sul de Bariloche. Será uma escalada díficil por conta do periodo que estaremos realizando a expedição, em pleno inverno patagônico.<br />

Marcelo Becker, 39 anos praticante de atividades esportistas outdoor, tem se dedicado a algumas provas de MTB regionais e internacionais como o Atacama Challenger 2014, Desafio Marcio May 2014. Já realizou diversas travessias de trekking, entre elas travessias na região dos Aparados da Serra e Serra Geral, trekking ao campo base do Monte Aconcágua, travessia de Salkantay via caminho Inca no Peru, trekking na Cordilheira Blanca também no Peru, trekking em Wilkawain e ascensões aos cerros Toco e Nevado Pastoururi no deserto do Atacama no Chile.</div>

André Augusto Brodt, biólogo com pós graduação em informações espaciais georreferenciadas pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos, praticante de atividades esportivas outdoor desde os anos 90, quando iniciou em provas de triathlon, chegando a participar inclusive de um Meio Iron Man na cidade de Torres.<br />
Participou e finalizou com uma ótima colocação dentro de sua categoria a Maratona Internacional de Porto Alegre em 1997. A partir de 1998 decidiu dedicar se mais ao ciclismo tendo participado até o ano passado de importantes competições, principalmente as de longa distância, Possui também experiência em trekking e escalada em rocha.<br />

Nos últimos dias a equipe Expedição Patagônia 2015 realizou um Training Camp na cidade de São Francisco de Paula, na serra gaúcha, com o objetivo de intensificar a preparação para a expedição.<br />

A primeira apresentação foi feita no gabinete do Presidente da Camâra de Vereadores da Cidade de Canoas, onde apresentei ao presidente Paulo Ritter o projeto e tornando oficial a expedição desse ano.<br />
Paulo Ritter propôs inclusive que após a expedição façamos uma exposição fotográfica sobre os principais momentos vividos durante a viagem.<br />

A segunda apresentação ocorreu no última dia 24 de junho na Aventura Bikes Shop, num evento que reuniu além da apresentação da Expedição Patagônia 2015 um workshop sobre os produtos da marca de vestuários para aventura SOLO. <span style="font-size: large;">Já tem data marcada e confirmada para o início de mais uma expedição do projeto Travessia Ruta 40 de Bicicleta. No dia 28 de agosto desse ano iniciarei a Expedição Patagônia Invernal de Bike, dando assim, continuidade ao projeto de realizar a travessia de toda a mítica Ruta 40 na Argentina.<br />Nessa expedição percorrerei cerca de 1200 km entre as cidades de Junin de los Andes e Perito Moreno e ainda se possível, pretendo escalar ao menos uma montanha andina próxima a estrada.<br />Essa com certeza será a expedição mais exigente até então do projeto, pois será durante o rígido inverno patagônico, onde as condições meteorológicas serão sem dúvidas de clima polar.<br />Além disso pretendo percorrer longas distâncias durante o dia e fazer o percurso o mais rápido possível, entre 6 a 8 dias de pedaladas. Outro fator que irá dificultar a expedição é a altimetria que deverá chegar próximo aos 8000 metros de ascensão.</span></h4>

cresce e a idéia de percorrer toda esta magnifica rodovia e escalar montanhas
começa a ter uma magia toda especial, pois faltam cerca de 2000 km para o fim
da travessia e com certeza 2013 será um ano muito especial, o ano da
concretização de um sonho, o ano de completar a travessia da mítica Ruta 40 de

Foram 17 dias desde a saìda de La Quiaca, sendo que pedalamos por 15 dias e 2 foram para recuperaçao e manutençao das bikes, percorremos 1818 km sempre pela Ruta 40 tradicional.<br />
Foram dias de muito calor durante o dia e frio a noite, muito rìpio, cerca 800km, a longa subida do Paso Abra del Acay, onde subimos a quase 5000 m de altitude, retas intermináveis, vento contra muito forte, como foi no penúltimo dia de pedal, quando saímos da localidade de San Roque e fomos em direçao a San Juan com vento contra por 160 km.<br />
No décimo quarto dia saìmos de Chilecito e subimos por mais de 30 km a linda Cuesta Miranda, concluindo o percurso do dia em Guandacol, um lugar muito pitoresco em plena Cordilheira dos Andes fechando o dia com 160 km.<br />
O décimo quinto dia pedalamos junto a dois ciclistas franceses que encontramos atè San Roque, terminando o dia com mais de 170 km percorridos.<br />
Ontem saimos de San Juan e percorremos os últimos 180 km finais chegando em Mendoza ainda dia com a sensaçao de dever cumprido!!!<br />
Temos mais dois dias por aqui antes do embarque para o Brasil, pretendemos ir atè a regiao do de Puente del Inca (proximo ao Aconcàgua) amanha pela manha e realizar algum trekking pela regiao.<br />

Foram dias difíceis de muito calor, para se ter uma idéia hoje fez 44 graus de temperatura durante a tarde, as subidas também voltaram a aparecer de forma mais longas. Fizemos 130 km, 150km, 110km e hoje 120km, nesses ultimos 4 dias.<br />
Estamos desgastados desses ultimos dias, mas temos um cronograma, que promete nos desgastar ainda mais, pretendemos percorrer mais 4 dias pela Ruta 40 e chegar a Mendoza na sexta feira dia 02, serao mais cerca de 600 km, vamos ver se conseguiremos!!!<br />

A boa notícia è que os longos trechos de rìpio terminaram e também a alta altitude ficou para trás, mas em compensaçao a idèia é de aumentar a nossa quilometragem diária para podermos cumprir a meta de chegar a Mendoza dentro do nosso prazo, que é dia 04 de novembro.<br />
Ontem encontramos um ciclista frances no caminho entre a cidade de Angastaco e Cafayete, pedalamos por um bom tempo juntos e na chegada a cidade conseguimos nos instalar num camping, onde pra nossa surpresa já haviam chegado também no mesmo dia 3 ciclistas, um espanhol que esta vindo do Alaska e pretende ir até a Antartica e dois argentinos que estao indo pra Ushuaia.<br />

Hoje ficamos parados para fazer uma limpeza e manutençao nas bikes, alem de descansar um pouco, para amanha seguirmos viagem rumo ao sul, queremos chegar a cidade de Belén em 2 dias, cerca de 260 km daqui de Cafayate, a principio só asfalto!!!!<br />

Até o momento tenho um saldo de dois pneus furados e um pneus cortado, incrível parece que passaram uma faca no meu pneu novinho, mas o ripio é assim mesmo, nem tudo sobrevive a ele!!! A bike do Clunc está com o bagageiro dianteiro quebrado a pelo menos uns cinco dias, mas ele deu uma amarrada e por enquanto tá dando certo.<br />

As temperaturas aqui estao ocilando bastante com dias de intenso calor, muito vento no periodo da tarde e frio a noite, o sol castiga e acabei com uma pequena queimadurade segundo grau, mas jà esta sendo tratada.<br />
Nao tivemos quase problemas com a altitude, devido ao òtimo ciclo de aclimataçao que fizemos.O Clunc apenas apresentou um pequeno problema gastrointestinal a dois dias, mas tambèm já esta recuperado.<br />

Mas agora aqui em Cachi, 6 dias depois da nossa partida percorremos cerca de 448 km, de muito ripio, pedalando sempre acima dos 3400 m de altitude, passando por uma regiao desèrtica e por um imenso salar chamado de Salinas Grande.<br />
Ficamos um dia em San Antonio de los Cobres, cidade mais alta da Argentina, com 3775m de altitude e acabamos desistindo da escalada do Cerro Negro, devido ao nosso grande desgaste fisico dos 3 primeiros dias. Fizemos entao um trekking de ascensao ao Cerro Terciopelo de 4000m de altitude e uma visao espetacular de seu cume para toda a regiao de San Antonio de los Cobres.<br />
Ontem saimos de San Antonio de los Cobres com grande expectativa, pois teriamos um grande desafio pela frente!!! E foi sem duvidas nenhuma um enorme desafio fisico e psicologico, pois passamos pelo passo Abra del Acay a quase 5000m, depois de mais de 8h pedalando montanha acima a cerca de 4 a 5km/h. Foi incrivel superar mais de 1300 m de desnivel a essa altitude de bike!!!<br />
Ao chegar ao topo (passo) a minha fisionomia e a do Clunc, era um misto de felicidade, cansaço e tambèm preucupaçao, pois teriamos que descer pelo outro lado o mais ràpido possivel, para nao ter problemas com a altitude e foi o que fizemos, literalmente despencamos por mais de 40 km, descendo de 5000m de altitude para 3000m em 3h de pedal montanha abaixo, chegando a povoado de La Poma.<br />
Hoje fizemos o trecho de La Poma a Cachi, se muitas dificuldades e pretendemos em no màximo 2 dias chegar a Cafayate, daì mando notìcias.<br />

La Quiaca esta a 3450m de altitude e faz fronteira com Villazon cidade boliviana, a temperatura aqui hoje durante o dia estava por volta dos 25 graus, mas a noite caiu bastante, sairemos amanha, rumo a Abra Pampa e se tudo correr bem iremos em direçao a Salinas Grandes, que fica exatamente entre Abra Pampa e San Antonio de los Cobres.<br />

Tanto eu como Clunc estamos nos sentindo bem na altitude, acho que se deve a imensa quantidade de litros de chà de coca que estamos ingerindo.<br />
